Jurnal Kebijakan Publik dan Pembangunan Daerah is currently in the process of strengthening its publication quality, editorial management, metadata, and digital visibility as part of its efforts to become indexed and discoverable in national and international scholarly databases.

At present, the journal has not yet been formally indexed in major academic indexing services. The Editorial Team is continuously working to improve the journal's eligibility and readiness for future inclusion in relevant indexing and abstracting databases.

Indexing Development Efforts

To improve the visibility, accessibility, and discoverability of its published articles, Jurnal Kebijakan Publik dan Pembangunan Daerah is undertaking several efforts, including:

  • Improving the consistency and quality of the journal's editorial and peer-review processes;
  • Maintaining regular and timely publication schedules;
  • Improving article metadata, including titles, abstracts, keywords, author information, affiliations, and references;
  • Improving the quality, accessibility, and technical management of the journal website;
  • Strengthening publication ethics, editorial policies, and transparency in accordance with recognized scholarly publishing practices;
  • Improving the completeness and consistency of Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and other publication metadata where applicable;
  • Ensuring that journal content can be properly harvested and discovered through appropriate scholarly information systems;
  • Increasing the quality and relevance of published articles, particularly in the areas of public policy and regional development;
  • Preparing the journal to meet the technical and editorial requirements of national and international indexing and abstracting services; and
  • Gradually pursuing inclusion in relevant scholarly databases once the journal meets the required eligibility criteria.

The journal is committed to continuously improving its publication standards and digital infrastructure so that its articles can become more widely accessible, discoverable, and recognized by the academic community, policymakers, practitioners, government institutions, and other stakeholders.
