Jurnal Kebijakan Publik dan Pembangunan Daerah is a peer-reviewed academic journal published and managed by the Regional Research and Innovation Division (Bidang Riset dan Inovasi Daerah) of the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency (Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan, Riset dan Inovasi Daerah/BAPPERIDA), Ngawi Regency.
The journal focuses on the development of knowledge, research, and evidence-based practices in the fields of public policy and regional development. It serves as an academic platform for researchers, academics, government officials, practitioners, policymakers, and other stakeholders to disseminate research findings, policy analyses, evaluations, and applied studies that contribute to better public governance and sustainable regional development.
Jurnal Kebijakan Publik dan Pembangunan Daerah publishes original research articles, literature reviews, policy studies, evaluation studies, and applied research concerning public policy formulation, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and innovation, as well as various dimensions of regional development. Its coverage includes regional development planning, local government governance and public administration, public service innovation and bureaucratic reform, regional research and innovation, regional economic development, social and human development, infrastructure and spatial planning, environmental sustainability, rural and urban development, digital transformation and smart governance, regional fiscal policy, disaster resilience, community empowerment, tourism and creative economy, intergovernmental cooperation, and other interdisciplinary issues relevant to public policy and regional development.
The journal particularly encourages studies that connect scientific evidence with practical policy needs and provide empirical evidence, policy recommendations, innovative approaches, and practical implications for improving governance, public services, and regional development. Interdisciplinary and comparative studies that bridge academic research and policymaking are also welcomed.
